Today we transferred three times and took 2 hours to get a big outlet mall called “Premium Mall”. It’s really far from here, and we took a long time on planning the trip yesterday.

Today we saw a 7-11! It’s our first time to see 7 -11 in Seattle !!
 I believe it’s hard for Seattle citizens to imagine how prosperous 7-11 is in Taiwan .

Seattle is really a good place for disable for senior and disable. They make a perfect barrier-free environment. For example, all the buses have special facility for disable. The buses can adjust the stature to make it fit for the sidewalk; as a result, disable or senior can get on the buses easier. And if the buses have stairs, it would have a hoist that can move vertically to carry disable and help them to get in. In addition, buses drivers are all passion to wait for disable and passengers are all willing to help them. It’s really a lovely city!

when we were in a transit center, we saw a train there. Different from Taiwan's train,it looked new and clear!


But a thing confused me was that every bus opened the door before pass through railway even though there was no stop there.

Due to weekend, there were a lot of people in the mall today. The mall looked like a village and included many outlet stores and factory stores such as Nike, Levis , Vans, Burberry, Sony, and so on.

We order a special dessert called “caramel apple”. It’s an apple with caramel on the skin. There were a lot of different flavors, but the caramel is the original one. That kind of apple can also buy in Taiwan now. it tasted good, the caramel was not too sweet but savoury. A fly in the ointment was that the apple was a little bit sour.

 Joyce and I bought some clothes of Tommy and GAP. We also went to the Coach’s outlet store, wanting to buy some bags to please our moms. However, although bags in the store were cheaper than other regular stores, it’s still expensive; a good-looking bag cost at least 190$, therefore, we didn’t buy it finally.


Our trip to LA is four days later, during these days we plan to go to take ”ride the duck”, buy some souvenirs in downtown, visit Madison park again, and clean up the home on the day before we leave.
